About the Bulk IP-to-ASN Lookup

Built for developers, network operations, security analysts, and data teams, this tool provides bulk IP → ASN attribution. Submit hundreds of IPv4 addresses at once and get Network (prefix) / ASN / Country / Name / Org / Domain in one table—quickly identifying the upstream networks/ISPs and autonomous system ownership.

Powered by authoritative BGP/routing views and local index stores with Longest Prefix Match (LPM), plus caching and concurrency queues, we ensure accuracy and stability. The frontend accepts mixed-format paste (commas, spaces, newlines, tabs), auto-extracts valid IPs, and supports one-click CSV export for large batch workflows.

  • Automatically extract and deduplicate valid IPs; submit in bulk with per-line results
  • Return authoritative ASN data via CIDR LPM: network, asn, country_code, name, org, domain
  • Secure POST API with API key verification; backend caching to accelerate lookups
  • Results table supports one-click CSV export (with headers; Excel-friendly)
  • Controlled frontend concurrency to protect backend capacity; automatic retry on failures
  • Responsive UI for a consistent experience on mobile and desktop

From allow/deny list operations and egress auditing to attack tracing and peering analysis, ASN context yields richer network insights. Tell us what you need—fields can be extended (e.g., MOAS, upstream AS, RPKI status).

Features & Best Practices

  • Data sources & accuracy: Based on public BGP routing views and common ASN datasets, combined with local indexing and LPM hits; updated regularly for freshness and stability.
  • Efficient processing: Multi-format input cleaning & dedupe; backend concurrency + caching; async rendering on the frontend with CSV export anytime.
  • Field notes: network is the matched prefix (e.g., 1.0.0.0/24); asn is the autonomous system number; country_code is the country abbreviation seen in the ASN name; name/org/domain map to AS name, organization, and primary domain respectively.
  • Compliance & privacy: Resolution is based only on IPs and public network information. We don’t collect additional personal data; logs are used for diagnostics/abuse-prevention with reasonable retention.
  • Compatibility: Works on modern browsers; mobile-friendly interactions; server defaults to IPv4 (IPv6 available on request).

Tips & caveats

  • For very large batches, consider chunked submissions. Frontend concurrency is rate-limited to avoid spikes.
  • Some IPs may show MOAS (multi-origin) or temporary routing drift. Cross-check with your business context and multiple sources.
  • Need more fields (upstream AS, organization aliases, RPKI validation, historical snapshots)? Contact support to enable extensions.
  • API has anti-abuse and quota policies. Plan call rates to avoid impacting other users.
  • All results are derived from public routing data and intended for lawful use in security auditing, operations, and research.

Heads-up: One-click CSV export is available. The column order is ip, network, asn, country_code, name, org, domain. You can directly map these headers to your internal systems.
