Terms of Use

Effective Date: 2025-06-16 · Last Updated: 2025-12-21 · Contact: business@ipin.io

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of IPIN.IO (“IPIN.IO”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including all web pages, tools, and APIs made available through the site. By accessing or using IPIN.IO, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Plain-English Summary: IPIN.IO provides lightweight networking utilities such as IP lookups, proxy checkers, and log analysis. You must use the service legally, you are responsible for the data you submit (including logs and proxy credentials), and the service is provided “as is” without warranties. We may modify or discontinue features at any time to protect the service and other users.

1) Scope of Service and Eligibility

What IPIN.IO provides. IPIN.IO is a toolbox intended for networking, operations, security, and research workflows. Features may include IP intelligence lookups, multi-source IP comparisons, bulk IP/ASN processing, IP range analytics, HTTP/SOCKS5 proxy testing, log parsing/visualization, and other related utilities. Some tools may rely on external data providers to return results. We may add, modify, or remove tools, endpoints, or output formats over time.

No account required. IPIN.IO does not require registration to use core features. Because there is no account system, any settings or preferences you see may be stored locally in your browser (for example, language preference), and you are responsible for your own device security and browser environment.

Eligibility. You may use IPIN.IO only if you can form a binding agreement under applicable law. If you use IPIN.IO on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf. IPIN.IO is not designed for use by children; if you are under the age required by your jurisdiction, do not use the service.

2) Acceptable Use, Security, and Your Responsibilities

Use the service lawfully. You agree not to use IPIN.IO for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose. This includes (but is not limited to) attempting unauthorized access to systems or networks, scanning or probing targets you do not own or have permission to test, distributing malware, enabling fraud, evading law enforcement, or violating the privacy or rights of others. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws and policies, including those of your employer, network provider, and target systems.

You are responsible for the data you submit. Some tools allow you to submit IP addresses, proxy endpoints, or upload/paste log content. You represent and warrant that (a) you have the right and authority to submit that data, and (b) your submission does not violate any contractual obligation, confidentiality duty, or applicable law. If you upload logs, you should remove or mask sensitive information (tokens, cookies, passwords, secrets, personal identifiers) before submitting. Even though IPIN.IO is designed with a zero-retention approach, submitting sensitive data over the network always carries risk, and you assume responsibility for what you choose to submit.

Proxy testing and third-party effects. Proxy checking tools work by initiating outbound connections from our servers to the proxy endpoints you provide. Your proxy server or upstream network may log these connection attempts. If you include proxy authentication credentials, you should use least-privilege credentials whenever possible and avoid reusing passwords from other services. You understand and accept that network tests can generate traffic visible to your infrastructure and providers.

Multi-source lookups may involve third parties. When you use a tool that compares results across third-party IP intelligence or geolocation providers, the target IP you enter may be sent to those providers to obtain results. Those providers may apply their own rate limiting, abuse prevention, and logging practices. IPIN.IO is not responsible for how third parties handle data or logs within their systems.

No abuse of availability. You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the service, including by attempting to overload it, bypass rate limits, or scrape content in a way that harms performance. We may apply rate limits, blocks, or other controls to protect the service and other users. If you are operating automated workloads, you are responsible for using reasonable request rates and for handling errors/backoff.

3) Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Changes

Ownership and permitted use. IPIN.IO and its design, text, code, visual elements, and compiled tool outputs (excluding third-party data you may receive) are owned by IPIN ChainLink Limited and/or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You may use the site and the results it generates for your internal, personal, or business purposes. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or provide access to IPIN.IO in a way that competes with or substitutes for the service, unless you have our written permission.

Third-party content and links. IPIN.IO may display results sourced from third-party providers and may link to third-party websites. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, policies, availability, or accuracy. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies, and you should review them if you rely on those services.

No warranties (“as is”). IPIN.IO is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that results will be complete, accurate, or suitable for any particular purpose. IP intelligence and geolocation information may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or inconsistent across sources. You are responsible for validating results before using them in operational, compliance, or security decisions.

Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, IPIN.IO and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the service. Where liability cannot be fully excluded, our total liability will be limited to the amount you paid to use the service in the 30 days prior to the event giving rise to the claim (or, if you paid nothing, a nominal amount).

Changes, suspension, and termination. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of IPIN.IO at any time, including features, endpoints, and availability, especially to address security, abuse, or operational risks. We may also restrict access to users or traffic patterns that we reasonably believe are abusive, unlawful, or harmful to the service or others. These Terms remain effective while you use the site.

Governing law and contact. These Terms are provided by IPIN ChainLink Limited. Questions about the Terms can be sent to business@ipin.io. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

Reminder: Do not submit secrets (passwords, private keys, access tokens) into any input field. If you upload logs, please redact sensitive fields first. Use IPIN.IO only on systems and data you own or are authorized to test.
